A three-masted sailing ship moves across the icy waters of the Greenland Sea. On board is present a unique crew, composed of, among others, a geochemist, archeologist, marine biologist, theologian and a painter. Driven by the curiosity of the world, they discover blank spaces on the map, follow a polar bear, discover traces of ancient settlements and collect deep-sea microbes. But mostly they discuss the nature of the world and the role of humans in it.
